The power of a story

Once upon a time, there was a little girl who loved telling stories. She loved the thrill of imagining, the power of words, and the way stories whispered to her of who she really was. Who she was becoming and what really could be. They beckoned her to wonder beyond what she could see, to come visit their lands and adventures with all her senses. She loved that true love always won in the end and the one who needed rescuing was always rescued. And yet, with time and some loss of innocence, she began to discover the dark power of stories as well. That just as they can bring great light and triumph, they can also bring great darkness and loss. She took a detour down the path of darkness, and her stories, for a while, brought great heartache to those who listened. Yet as all good stories go, she was rescued from the darkness and brought back into the light. You see, she did not know it at the time, but she was made to be a storyteller. Just as she was drawn by her maker to love and convey Him through her stories, there was an enemy trying to silence her. This is the story of a girl who refuses to keep silent. After all, she was made to be a storyteller...
